X28HC64P-12 Renesas

The X28HC64 supports a 64 - byte page write operation, effectively providing a 32μs/byte write cycle, and enabling the entire memory to be typically written in 0.25 seconds. The X28HC64 also features DATA Polling and Toggle Bit Polling, two methods providing early end of write detection. In addition, the X28HC64 includes a user - optional software data protection mode that further enhances Intersil's hardware write protect capability.

Intersil EEPROMs are designed and tested for applications requiring extended endurance. Inherent data retention is greater than 100 years.

   X28HC64P-12's Manufacturer - Renesas

Founded in 1997, Tronics is an international MEMS manufacturer, addressing growing markets with high added value. The company designs, manufactures and sells custom and standard MEMS-based products to the industrial, aeronautics, security and medical markets, relying on a strong portfolio of 25 families of patents. Tronics’ MEMS inertial products combine all key benefits on a single chip, offering best-in-class performance and accuracy in an ultra-compact design. They are tailored for system manufacturers with high requirements for highly stable, high-performance inertial sensors. Manufactured, packaged and calibrated in its own fab located in France, Tronics’ high performance inertial sensors bring significant value and differentiation for applications that are more demanding than automotive, while not requiring ‘tactical grade’ sensors. Following a tender offer ending January 2017, EPCOS AG, a TDK Group Company, now holds 74 percent of Tronics' shares.

Renesas X28HC64P-12's Category - Memory Chip

A memory chip is an integrated circuit chip used for storing data, also known as a storage chip. It is a crucial component of a computer system, used for temporarily or permanently storing data and instructions. The function of a memory chip is to store and retrieve data in a computer system so that it can be quickly accessed and processed when needed.

Memory chips are generally divided into two types: Random - Access Memory (RAM) and Read - Only Memory (ROM). RAM is used to store running programs and temporary data, with fast read - write speeds but data loss upon power - off; while ROM is used to store fixed programs and data, which is permanent but can only be read and not written. Besides RAM and ROM, there are other types of memory chips, such as flash memory, EEPROM, etc.

Memory chips play a vital role in computer systems. They not only provide temporary storage space for computers to quickly access and process data but also store important information such as operating systems, application programs, and user data. The performance and capacity of memory chips directly affect the speed and efficiency of computer systems. Therefore, choosing the appropriate memory chips is crucial for enhancing the performance of computer systems.

Overall, memory chips are indispensable components in computer systems. Their role is to store and retrieve data, providing support for the normal operation of computer systems. Through continuous technological innovation and development, the performance and capacity of memory chips are constantly improving, bringing more possibilities for the development and application of computer systems.
